Information panels with the warning of avalanche danger are planned to be installed on the routes of ski mountaineering in Andorra, reported the Minister of Tourism of Andorra Francesc Camp. All necessary research in this area will be handled by the national center for the study of nature of Andorra (CENMA).
As the minister explained, the number of people practicing ski mountaineering in Andorra has increased significantly, both among professionals and amateurs.
Research and information will be conducted to reduce the number of accidents.
Information panels will be installed at the beginning of each route zone in all administrative districts of the principality.
