In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution, Andorra (Pyrenees) issues three coins – gold (50 euros), silver (5 euros) and copper-nickel (2 euros).
Andorra celebrates the Constitution day on 14th March.
The Minister of Finance of Andorra Jordi Cinca said at a press conference, gold coins of 50 euros will be issued in the volume of 3000 pieces (diameter 23 mm, weight 6.75 grams), silver coins of 5 euros – 10,000 pieces (diameter 40 mm, weight 27 g), copper-nickel coins of 2 euros – 75,000 (diameter 25.75 mm, weight 8.50 g).
Sales of coins start tomorrow exclusively through the numismatists of Andorra.
In the second half of the year, a coin worth 2 euro will also be issued to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Declaration on Human Rights.
