In 2019, electricity tariffs in Andorra will increase by 1%

FEDA’s (National Energy Company of Andorra (Pyrenees)) electricity tariffs will increase by 1.05% in 2019, which is lower than the price index. Thus, despite this increase, the price of electricity in Andorra will remain at a competitive level in comparison with neighboring Spain and France.

“Tariffs should cover the cost of production, purchase and transportation of electricity while ensuring the investment opportunities of FEDA. In addition, the goal is to save energy and promote more responsible and efficient energy consumption,” the Andorran government press release said.

In Andorra, there are three types of pricing, depending on the demand for and use of electricity: blue for individuals and small enterprises, red for medium-sized enterprises and green for large enterprises.
