Grandvalira officially announced the beginning of its rebranding because of a dividing into two ski zones

Grandvalira, Andorra (Pyrenees), officially announced the beginning of its rebranding. The reason is a dividing of a ski resort into two different sectors. It was reported by directors of joint-stock companies representing the interests of Grandvalira – Ensisa, Nevasa and Saetde: David Hidalgo, Alfonso Torreño and Verónica Canals. “Now we are working on possible scenarios for rebranding and the future of Grandvalira’s brand”, said Alfonso Torreño.

The changes are expected in a year (ski season of 2019-2020).

Speaking to reporters, the representatives of Grandvalira also told about plans for this summer. One of the new product of this summer season is a Big Airbag for jumping at Canillo sector.

There are also bad news – this season the bicycle park in Soldeu will be closed. In addition, for technical reasons, the Funiсamp in Encamp will not operate – it will be replaced by a bus that will run every hour from the stops of les Pardines and els Cortals.

Karting will be moved to the Pas de la Casa sector.
