Grandvalira invested about 400 000 euro in the improvement of its infrastructure before the ski season of 2014-2015

The largest ski resort of Andorra (Pyrenees) Grandvalira invested about 400000 euro in the improvement of the infrastructure of three “snow parks”: Snowpark Xavi, Snowpark El Tarter and Sunset Park Peretol. Thus Grandvalira will manage to expand the volume of services and the range of entertainment objects, located on the territory of the resort during the upcoming ski season of 2014-2015.

Today Grandvalira advertises the opening of a new sector for “freestyle” amateurs. The resort is also ready to offer three improved “snow parks”, aimed at all ages and levels of professionalism, together with mountain ski schools. This season the working hours of all Grandvalira parks will be prolonged: it will be possible to stay here from 9.00 till 21.00.

The Snowpark Xavi will be equipped with a special slope for professionals and with three modules (“elbow”, “kink” and “updown”).  The access to ski slopes will also be modernized.

The Snowpark El Tarter will also be equipped with new slopes, here will emerge two flanks for beginners—San Francisco and Rainbow. All modules were fixed, modernized and now are completely ready for the upcoming season.

And finally the slope for “freestyle” amateurs will appear in Sunset Park Peretol, it will function at night as well. The park is located not far from Grau Roig SPA-resort and from  the city square, decorated in province style. A new mountain ski school for children and adults will function here.

Currently the density of ski elevators  per square meter in Grandvalira and Vallnord is the highest in the world.
