The Government of Andorra and the Illa Carlemany cinema signed an agreement on the promotion of Catalan cinema in the Principality
The Government of Andorra represented by the Department of Language Culture and the administration of the Illa Carlemany cinema signed an agreement on the promotion of Catalan cinema in the Principality.
According to the document, at least ten premieres of Catalan cinema will be shown annually at the Illa Carlemany cinema. Copies will subsequently be distributed free of charge to those who study Catalan in courses and self-study centers.
The agreement also provides for the demonstration of films in the Catalan language, which were released earlier, every second and fourth Thursday of the month, as well as showing children’s movies during school holidays.
