In July of 1947, British photographer Hans Wild (1912-1969) visited Andorra and during his visit made hundreds of photos, which depicted the residents of the Principality, their holidays and mundane life, landscapes and architecture. His photos remained unpublished for a long time. Nowadays Google virtual museum of culture allows to find these pictures easily (there are about 432 photos). Unfortunately, the photos do not contain detailed descriptions, but only marked with the date and author. However, among them there are portraits of famous personalities, such as – Bishop of Urgell and Co-Prince of Andorra Ramon Iglesias i Navarri.
Hans Wild is a famous English art photographer. From 1938 to 1946 worked with the magazine «Life», traveling around Europe and the United States.
