On September 27 Andorra (Pyrenees) celebrates a Global Day of Tourism. This is the day when everyone may participate in different events on the territory of the Principality: either to attend a museum or sporting palace for free or to go for a walk in accordance to the previously determined route. The majority of museums work from 10.00 till 14.00 and from 15.00 till 18.00: the Museum of Post, Andorran Roman Museum, House Museum Casa Rull, National Museum of Automobiles, Casa de la Vall (old Parliament), the Museum of Bicycles (working hours from 10.00 till 13.30 and from 15.00 till 19.30), Casa Cristo and Ethnographic Museum (9.30-13.30 and 15.00-18.30) as well as ancient mill complex (working hours: 9.30-19.00).

The entrance to “Encamp” sporting complex will be free (9.00-13.00 and 15.00-20.00) as well as to Pas de la Casa sporting center (9.30-13.30 and 15.00-21.00)—swimming-pool, Jacuzzi, hammam, sauna and solarium will be available for visitors within the bounds of the event.

One of the most interesting excursions in Andorra is the ascension to Comapedrosa peak (the highest spot of Andorra—2.942 m above the sea level). Within the bounds of the event this excursion in the companion of a guide will be free. A night in a mountain hut and dinner are paid. A special offer will be valid on this day for those who decide to visit Vallnord sporting base (funicular+ sandwich+ drink only for 6 euro).

A global day of tourism will also be celebrated in Naturlandia park – a one-year subscription for  free entrance to the park will raffled off.

It is necessary to book tickets and excursions in advance at any touristic center of Andorra.
