Female BTT enthusiasts have an appointment with the Girls Bike Weekend, a test designed for female mountain bikers and specific for them. The Girls Bike Weekend arrives at Vallnord Bike Park (La Massana) in Andorra (Pyrenees) as one of the most important female events in the European calendar. Year after year, the number of participants has grown and thus the objective of normalizing female BTT participation is being achieved.
From experienced cyclists to hobbyists who want to improve their abilities or want to discover enduro and descent – the most daring version of BTT – all have an appointment this June to live this experience designed and carried out by biker girls for any girls and women interested in joining in. In the Girls Bike Weekend activities programme there are initiation classes, training and mechanics workshops, and descent and enduro practices, among others.
The coexistence between all standards of participants and their companions is one of the aspects that the organization pays special attention to, with the inclusion of a complete series of recreational activities, shared meals and various competitions.
