Museum of Armoured Vehicles in Saumur, France

Museum of Armoured Vehicles (fr. Musée des Blindés),  or Musée Général Estienne is a tank museum located in the Loire Valley of France, in Saumur city. It is now one of the world’s largest tank museums. Started in 1977 with only a few hundred tracked vehicles, today it has become a world-class collection which attracts visitors interested in the history of multinational tank development as well as professional armor specialists.

The collection of tanks and vehicles of the museum now includes 1917 gear including 800 in full working condition. It contains the most significant armored equipment from the main industrial countries: France, United States, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Sweden, countries of the former Soviet Union, Portugal, Israel, Brazil.

Opened every day from 10h to 18h.
