In honor of the celebration of the days of European cultural heritage, on 16th and 17th September, the Embassy of France in Andorra (Pyrenees) launches series of concerts of the Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse (l’Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, Occitania) jointly with the Ministry of Culture of Andorra.
The program:
Saturday, September 16:
11:00 – concert in Sant Martí de la Cortinada, music program: Gabrieli, Bach, Monteverdi, Haydn;
13:00 – picnic in the garden of the French Embassy in Andorra in Andorra la Vella (food and drinks should be brought with you);
16:00 – concert in the building of the French school in La Massana, music program: carnival of animals Saint-Saëns;
18:00 – concert in Sant Climent de Pal, music programs: 4 pieces for violin solo from different eras.
Sunday, September 17:
9:30 – excursion and concert in the church of Sant Miquel d’Engolasters, music program: “Sunrise”, Haydn and Mondonville.
Transport :
A bus is provided for all points of the orchestra’s performances. Departure – bus stop opposite the Poliesportiu Prat Gran d’Escaldes-Engordany.
SATURDAY: Departure at 10:00 (stop is also available at 10:20 at the bus stop Plaça de les Fontetes in la Massana). The bus arrives back to the same place at 19:30.
SUNDAY: Departure at 9:00 in the morning. Return bus to the same place at 12:00.
All events are free. Preliminary registration is required (on the website of the French Embassy in Andorra).
