La statue de son fondateur tr\u00f4ne au milieu, entour\u00e9e de 13 animaux de bois et d\u2019acier, nich\u00e9s dans leurs bassins d\u2019eau, qui s\u2019animent selon les r\u00eaves des passants.<\/p>\n<p>La Roche-sur-Yon, petit bourg, fut choisi par Napol\u00e9on 1er pour devenir capitale de la Vend\u00e9e. Selon Napol\u00e9on, le danger de voir les Anglais d\u00e9barquer sur les c\u00f4tes vend\u00e9ennes accentue le d\u00e9sir d\u2019y installer une forte garnison arm\u00e9e. Ce sera \u201cLes machines de l\u2019\u00eele\u201d, \u00e9quipement touristique et culturel inaugur\u00e9 en 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Avec le r\u00e9am\u00e9nagement de La Roche-sur-Yon, cet infatigable cr\u00e9ateur passionn\u00e9 r\u00e9cidive avec la cr\u00e9ation du bestiaire de \u201cla place des animaux\u201d.<a
