For the 44th consecutive year, Air France is partner and official carrier of the Cannes Film Festival

The 77th edition of which is taking place from 14 to 25 May 2024. For the entire duration of the festival, the airline is for the first time opening a beach for everyone, the new place to be on the Croisette in Cannes.

On 13 and 27 May 2024, Air France is operating two special flights providing a direct service between Los Angeles (United States) and Nice (France). These flights are in response to strong demand from customers on the American West Coast who want to enjoy the French Riviera and the Festival, as well as the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. These flights are operated by Airbus A350 equipped with the airline’s latest cabins.

Throughout its history, Air France has transported film crews, assisted with productions and of course continues to show films on board. Ever since its first movie shown – An American in Paris – on board a Constellation flying from New York to Paris in 1951, cinema has been part of Air France’s DNA, and is now a key part of the travel experience. In all its long-haul cabins, Air France promotes cinema all year round on its latest-generation HD individual screens. The company offers 1,500 hours of in-flight entertainment including a wide selection of French films and movies that have won awards at previous editions of the Cannes Film Festival.
