The Font Blanca 2018 ISMF ski mountaineering World Cup will be held in Andorra (Pyrenees) on 27th and 28th January. The stage consists of two competitions: individual race and a vertical race.
Competitions will be held at the Vallnord Ordino-Arcalís and Vallnord Pal-Arinsal ski resorts respectively.
This season’s World Cup calendar includes five stages. The competition started in Wanlong, Hebei Province, China. The next stage will take place in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland.
Andorra hosts the third stage. Further competitions will be continued in France in Puy-Saint-Vincent. The World Cup finishes in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy.
The organizers of the competition are the International Federation of Alpine Skiing (Federació Internacional d’Esquí de Muntanya), the Federation of Alpine Skiing of Andorra (Federació Andorrana de Muntanyisme) and the Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing of Spain (Federació Espanyola d’Esports d’Escalada i Muntanyisme).
