The fishing season 2016 starts in Andorra (Pyrenees) on 18th June and runs until 16th October.
Fishing in Andorra is permitted only with acquired licenses of various types. In 2016 the main fish in the the rivers and lakes of Andorra – the salmon of different kinds.
The fario trout (Salmo fario) can be caught in most rivers and lakes of Andorra, rainbow trout (Onchorhynchus mykiss) in the lake of Engolasters, salmon classic (Salvelinus fontinalis) is the main fish in the high mountain rivers and ponds.
Daily limit on fishing – 8 units. Fish less than 20 cm must be get back into the water.
Fishing in the lake of will be not permitted only on 1st and 2d July 2016, the lake of Engolasters – 23d and 24th July 2016.
