The first working group’s meeting on creating infrastructure for the treatment of cancer took place in Andorra.
The Government of Andorra, at the suggestion of the minister of Health of the principality, Carles Alvarez, decided to conduct an analysis of the situation and develop a list of conditions for a tender to create the necessary infrastructure and comprehensive services for persons with oncology in order to provide access to treatment in Andorra and improve the quality of care for patients.
The working group includes employees from the ministry of Health, the ministry of Economy, Competitiveness and Innovation, ACTUA and CASS (Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social).
The members of the working group will continue their meetings in order to complete the formulation of the terms of reference for a tender in the coming months.
