More than 70000 people attended 37th annual fair in Andorra la Vella (2015 FIRA), Andorra (Pyrenees), held in the capital of the Principality from 23 to 25 October. Commenting the results of the fair the mayor of Andorra La Vella Jordi Minguillón said that the greatest interest still showed representatives of the automotive industry, exhibitions with ski equipment, health and SPA facilities. Interest was also aroused by the stands of craftsmen, representing the traditions and culture of different countries.
The mayor also noted that 2015 was marked by a considerable increase (in comparison with previous years) of the number of commercial transactions.
Meanwhile, the city hall of the capital of Andorra received a few complaints from commercial and public organisations that are unable to participate in the fair because of lack of space. Jordi Minguillón promised next year to take all measures to solve the problem of the lack of the space the most optimal way.
Among other results of the fair – is a 30% growth of Vallnord SKIPASS sales this year. It was stated by General Director of Vallnord – Pal-Arinsal Josep Marticella. The majority of clients are residents of Andorra, as well as residents of neighboring Spain and France, he said. The second ski resort Grandvalira has also announced a growth in sales during the fair in 2015 compared with last year, however, details are not yet known.
