“Our boutique opened in Andorra in August 2016. The reason that prompted me to make such a decision is a passion for sport, active lifestyles and walking in the nature. At the moment we only have one store but in the future, we would like to expand the presence of the brand Monterosa Sport.
The name Monterosa Sport is a tribute to the place in Italy where I was born. Monterosa is Italy’s highest mountain. If you look at our corporate font, you will see that the letters have an original design: they are originally written in ink, and the brush is like a branch of a fir tree that grows on Mount Monterosa. It’s a way to keep in touch with my homeland.
Our goal is to offer quality products at a reasonable price. We do not sell goods made by luxury Italian brands. Our secret is the search for brands of the middle price segment at competitive prices plus fashionable design and good quality. Basically, in our store, brands of small European manufacturers are on sale.
Among the Italian brands represented in our store are Dolomite, Campagnolo, Scarpa and Brekka. We can buy things made from brands that have just begun to appear in Andorra, for example, NWPD. We also offer French, American, Austrian and Swiss brands, which we consider to be optimal in their combination of quality, design and price. After all, most buyers who come to Andorra are looking for such goods.
We are a multi-sport store with stock that is updated in accordance with the seasons. In winter, for example, our main products are ski equipment and clothing: skis, helmets, gloves, goggles, anoraks … in short, everything that is necessary for practicing this sport. Perhaps the upcoming winter range of helmets will be expanded due to the trademark HMR – this is a modern design which is also very comfortable and has one of the highest safety ratings.
In the summer, of course, we concentrate on footwear and clothes for walking and hiking in the mountains, as well as practicing your favorite sports.
Our staff are highly qualified specialists who have been working as consultants for sports goods for many years and can give the best advice so that the buyer can eventually buy exactly what best suits their needs. This is one of our main distinguishing features.
The boutique is located at Av. Meritxell, 130 (Andorra la Vella). Our shop covers two floors with an area of 300 m2. We work every day from 10:00 to 20:00. In the high tourist season, the store closes at 22:00.
