ЭД-244КМ on KamAZ-53605 chassis

The ED-244KM multifunctional road vehicle on a maneuverable two-axle KamAZ chassis is designed for mechanized cleaning of highways, roadways of city streets and areas with asphalt concrete and cement concrete pavement.

The base chassis is adapted for the installation of any attachments, allowing year-round maintenance work. In winter, the machine is designed for high-speed snow removal, distribution of de-icing materials on the roadway, including moistened and liquid chemical reagents, with automatic control of reagent distribution parameters from 5 to 50 g/m². In the summer, the machine is used for sweeping away debris, washing and watering the road surface, road furnishings, road signs and plantings. Depending on the customer’s requirements, both a metal tank and plastic E-2000 containers can be used as a container for watering and brine distribution equipment.

In addition, the ED-244KM machine can be equipped with Swiss-made Bucher Cityfant 6000 sweeping-vacuum equipment, which allows automated garbage collection using “dust-free technology” on city streets and inter-block areas in the summer. The machine can be equipped with one (standard equipment) or two (optional) suction units and a rear suction hose. In order to avoid downtime in winter, vacuum sweepers can be equipped with front plow equipment and rear brush equipment.
