E. M. A. P. – the management company of Pal Arinsal sector of the ski resort Vallnord, Andorra (Pyrenees) – announced its intention to invest 6.7 million euros in the development of the ski infrastructure during next two years.
It was reported by the Chief Consul of La Massana and the President of E. M. A. P. David Baró during the presentation of the investment program of the ski resort.
“The program is real, it will allow to modernize and improve the station with the help of new equipment, expand the range of services and install additional facilities for snow production,” he said. In particular, new facilities will be istalled on the slopes of Font Roja and la Transversal, Pal sector. A water reservoir of more than 20,000 cubic meters will be built in the zone of Comallemple.
The works start in May this year. The volume of investments will be 2.4 million euros for this year and it will be fully funded from the budget of La Massana County. During 2018-2019, work will be carried out to improve the ski areas, including ski slopes widening.
The general director of E. M. A. P. Josep Marticella said “the company’s plans are also to create additional slopes for beginners and create infrastructure for competitions in skiing disciplines of international level.

In addition to the investment plan for the next two years, the company guarantees to invest a minimum of 40 million euros for the next 20 years.
