The Secretary of State for Social Affairs and Employment of Andorra (Pyrenees), Ester Fenoll, has outlined the employment policies that the Government has set up in the Principality, in particular, those referring to labor inclusion, aimed at vulnerable groups, before the participants of the 10th Ibero-American Conference of Ministers of Labor, Employment and Social Security, held in La Antingua, Guatemala.

In her speech at the conference “Generating decent, inclusive and sustainable work”, Ester Fenoll explained that these policies follow the lines marked by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), specifically agenda number 8 2030.

In this regard, the Secretary of State for Social Affairs and Employment has reiterated Andorra’s commitment to comply with the 17 ODS, focusing on the achievement of a labor market that also responds to colleagues most needed schools.

During her speech, Ester Fenoll also outlined the different employment programs and social and occupational training currently in force in Andorra, including the Inclusive Business Network, and the provision for involuntary unemployment.

The Secretary of State will sign the joint declaration of those responsible for Employment and Social Security of the Ibero-American community, with the commitment to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for everyone as set out in the objectives of Agenda 2030.
The Ibero-American Conference of Labor Ministers and Social Security is part of the Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will take place next November in Guatemala.
