“Democrats for Andorra” got the majority of the votes in 5 parishes during municipal elections on 13th December in Andorra

On 13th December in Andorra (Pyrenees) municipal elections were held. The party “Demòcrates per Andorra” won in five administrative districts of Andorra by a majority of votes.

The Ministry of justice and interior affairs of Andorra Xavier Espot notes that elections were held without any violations. Meanwhile he pointed out the decline of electoral activity. So, this year 60.8% of voters (15.260 people) took part in elections against 64,77% of voters (25.109 people) in 2011.

1606 of voting bulletins were blank and 274 – spoiled. A record low number of voters was seen in Andorra la Vella – 53% of voters came to the polls.
