This biplane arises as a civil development of the different military Consolidated PT trainers and specifically of the “Husky”, thus being known at first as “Husky Junior”. For its development, the “factotum” of Consolidated, Ruben H. Fleet, creates a subsidiary of this house, which is called Fleet Aircraft Inc.
The approximately 1,250 in total produced, used in at least eighteen countries, very often wearing military cockades.
