Combat aviation of the USSR: Yak-141. The first supersonic multi-purpose vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. Designed to intercept aerial targets and conduct near maneuver combat, as well as strikes against ground and surface targets. In the process of testing, 12 world records of climbing capacity and flight altitude with cargo were made. Serially was not produced due to lack of funding.
