Carmen Thyssen Museum in Andorra (Pyrenees) and Andorra Telecom signed an agreement on the use of new technologies to serve the visitors. This has been reported today at a joint press conference by Art director of the museum Guillermo Сervera, CEO of Andorra Telecom Jordi Nadal and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Olga Gelabert.

Andorra Telecom purchases 3 46-inch and 1 52-inch LED touch screens that will offer visitors information associated with the exhibition. According to Olga Gelabert, touch screens educational technology – is a tool focused on youth, and it can give opportunity to “see art from new perspectives.”

Total investments of the project  – 75,000 euros.

The museum also opens educational center “EDUCARmen Thyssen”, which will be fully integrated into the primary school system and Andorran University.

Jordi Nadal said “the sponsorship offer perfectly fits the innovative concept of educational technology by Andorra Telecom.

Guillermo Сervera explained that HD screens allow visitor to explore every detail of each painting of the exhibition.

“Andorra Telecom” is the main sponsor of the Museum Carmen Thyssen in Andorra. The museum will be opened on 16th March.
