Benelli BN 125. Green version

The BN 125 is a naked type moto, presented at the Intermot in Cologne in 2018. As for the Benelli TRK 502 road enduro, it is one of the first bikes developed by Benelli after the acquisition in 2005 by the Chinese group QJ.

The bike features a 125 cm³ single-cylinder four-stroke engine (54 mm bore and 54.5 mm stroke) with mixed air-oil cooling and twin spark system equipped with two spark plugs, which was introduced for the first time on the Benelli TNT 125 in 2017.

The engine is equipped with an indirect electronic injection system (Delphi MT05) and a catalytic converter, being Euro 4 approved. It develops 8.2 kW (11.1 HP) at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 Nm at approximately 7000 rpm. Distribution is entrusted to four overhead valves controlled by a single camshaft. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a wet multi-plate clutch in conjunction with a five-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

Both part of the tubular frame and other components, such as the digital speedometer, are taken from the larger Benelli models such as the BN 302 and BN 600. At the front, the BN 125 has an upside-down fork with 17-inch rims that fits a tire 110/80. At the rear there is a two-arm swingarm with adjustable central shock absorber and a 130/70 tire with a 17-inch rim. The braking system consists of front and rear brake discs.
