The issues of cooperation between Belarus and Andorra were discussed in the course of the working trip of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus in France Pavel Latushko to Andorra on March 3

The issues of cooperation between Belarus and Andorra, that established  diplomatic relations in 2011, were discussed in the course of the working trip of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus in France Pavel Latushko to Andorra on March 31, 2014. Within the bounds of his meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs Gilbert Saboya Sunyé, both parties expressed mutual interest in the development of bilateral relations in the sphere of economics, culture, tourism, etc.

The diplomat invited the representatives of Andorran touristic spheres to participate in Belarusian specialized exhibitions. Pavel Latushko explained that the experience of Andorra is really interesting for Belarusian side, taking into consideration the fact that the country with the population of 70 000 people annually welcomes 8 mln of tourists.

Pavel Latushko also had a working meeting with the Minister for Culture Albert Garcia, they exchanged opinions on possible ways of cooperation in the culture of both countries. The parties agreed to work out the issues related to the organization of contemporary Belarusian visual art exhibition in Andorra and to the participation of Andorran representatives in Belarusian cultural festivals. Invited by Andorran side, Belarusian artists will take part in the “art-camp international plein-air” in 2014 in Andorra.

At the meeting with the President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry the parties discussed the opportunity to organize the presentation of trade economic collaboration of Andorran entrepreneurs with Belarus. Andorran Chamber of Commerce and Industry encompasses about 5500 of companies.

Pavel Latushko also had a number of meetings with the representatives of consulting and financial companies regarding the issues of investment collaboration establishment.
