On Saturday and on Sunday, August 26th-27th in La Seu d’Urgell, Catalonia, Spain is going to be the city day’s celebration. These days in La Seu d’Urgell (in particularly at such places as Ateneu, al passeig Joan Brudieu and la Taverna Folk) you will be able to hear music and see folk dances of Catalonia, Occitania (France), Aragon and the Basque community.
The local band Seu Folk under direction of Ivan Caro will also participate in the celebration.
The concert Folk al Merca’ will begin at 11:00 on Saturday, August 26, in the city market district. On Sunday, August 27, at 18:00 it will be continued at Parc del Cadí.
Open lessons of playing traditional musical instruments and dances for adults and children will be organised at 18:15. Gala dinner will begin at 21:00 (grill cooked dishes, including vegetarian ones).
The concert will be continued at 22.30.
