BTR-50PU (object 750K) – command-staff version of BTR-50, armored personnel carrier based on the light floating PT-76 tank. Serial production was carried out at the facilities of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant and the Volgograd Tractor Plant. The armored body is divided into 3 compartments. In front of it there is a department of management in which there is a mechanic-driver seat, the commander of the car and the navigator; in the middle part is the headquarters; in the rear compartment – an engine.
