Archbishop Paül R. Gallagher, Holy see Secretary for state relations, will visit Andorra in September. This was announced by the minister of foreign affairs of Andorra Gilbert Saboya. He noted that the Archbishop would arrive by the invitation of the bishopric and the government of Andorra on 7 and 8 September. The visit will coincide with the celebration of Andorra’s main feast Day of the Holy Meritxell.
This is the first official visit of the representative of the Holy Church in Andorra of this level.
During the visit Paul Gallagher will meet with the leadership of Andorra.
On 13 June Gilbert Saboya intends to meet with Archbishop Paul Gallagher in the Vatican to discuss the details of the upcoming visit.
