The Prime Minister of Andorra Antoni Marti, accompanied by the Minister for Finances Jordi Cinca, visited Luxembourg

The head of the Government of AndorraAntoni Martí Petit, accompanied  by the Minister for Finances Jordi Cinca, visited Luxembourg. In the course of the meeting that took place in the capital of Luxemburg, Andorran officials discussed the issues of rapprochement between Andorra (Pyrenees) and EU with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel and the Minister for Finances Pierre Gramegna.

It should be recalled that Luxembourg presides over EU  from the second half of 2015.

During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues, related to the development of international standards in the sphere of financial transparency and the taxation from the points of view of both the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Europe (OECD) and from EU itself. The parties expressed confidence in further development of relations between two countries.

The program of the visit also included the meeting of Antoni Marti and Jordi Cinca with the representatives of Andorran companies, operating on the territory of Luxemburg.
