Andorran FM Gilbert Saboya arrived on an official visit to Slovakia

Andorran FM Gilbert Saboya arrived on an official visit to Slovak Republic. The major issue that was discussed in the course of negotiations with Slovak Minister for Finances Peter Kazimir was the perspective of signing the agreement on tax information exchange between two countries.

During his visit Gilbert Saboya had a meeting with the Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak as well as with the State Secretary for the Issues of Transport, Building and Regional Development Frantisek Palko.

The Government of Andorrainforms that during the meeting with the Prime Minister the parties discussed the opportunities of Andorra (Pyrenees) to enter EU internal market within the bound of the Treaty of Lisbon.

Miroslav Lajcak  expressed his support of Andorran side in the upcoming negotiations on the association between EU, Andorra, Monaco and San Marino.

Gilbert Saboya also had a meeting with the State Secretary for the Issues of Transport and discussed the perspectives of collaboration in the sphere of tourism and the opportunities to sign in future the protocol on mutual understanding. Saboya and Palko also discussed economic relations between Andorra and Slovak Republic as well as the opportunities offered by the countries in the dimension of investment attraction.
