Andorran Government plans to restore the gastronomic heritage of the country

The Ministry of Tourism of Andorra together with the Ministry of Education of the Principality will conduct a study to restore the gastronomic heritage of Andorra (Pyrenees), reported the Government of Andorra on 20th December.

Institut Supérieur du Tourisme de l’Hôtellerie et de l’Alimentation de l’Université de Toulouse-Jean Jaurès (ISTHIA), Toulouse, France, Occitania, will take part in the research.

The study involves identifying the main products that use the country’s restaurants, as well as interviews with nutrition experts and chefs of the principality’s restaurants.

A book of Andorran recipes, based on the results of the study, will be published.  It is also planned to have regular culinary master classes of Andorran cuisine.
