Andorran government announces three-day national mourning over Jacques Chirac’s death

The government of Andorra announced three days of national mourning for the death of the former co-prince of Andorra, Jacques Chirac. The head of the Andorran government, Xavier Espot, sent a letter to Jacques Chirac’s family where he expressed his condolences and emphasized his respect to the co-prince of Andorra, which he was from 1995 to 2007.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Andorra sent condolences to the Embassy of the French Republic in Andorra.
Jacques Chirac died on Thursday, September 26, at the age of 86. He was co-prince of Andorra and president of France for 12 years and also held other important positions in big politics.

National mourning begins at midnight.

Tomorrow, September 27, a book of condolences will be available on the ground floor of the Andorran Government Administration Building from 9:00 to 15:00 so that anyone can leave a message.
