Andorran FM Maria Ubach took part in the 34th session of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) in Paris

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra (Pyrenees), Maria Ubach, took part in the 34th session of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) in Paris (France). The session was devoted to the issues of the blue and green economy, its promotion and financing. In particular, the parties discussed the compliance with the requirements for combating climate change.

According to Maria Ubach, the transformation of the economy on a global scale should be more comprehensive and based on respect for human rights and the promotion of continuous improvement of quality of life.

The Minister also stressed in her speech about the need to protect one of the main natural resources – water.

In conclusion, Maria Ubach mentioned the commitment of Andorra to programs in favor of gender equality.
