Andorra and Spain signed a protocol on mutual understanding between the two countries on cybersecurity

Andorran FM Maria Ubach and the Spanish State Secretary for Europe Jorge Toledo met to discuss the current status of the Andorran association agreement with the EU, Andorra’s candidacy for the Ibero-American Summit of 2020, as well as various aspects related to bilateral cooperation. The meeting took place on 31st October in Madrid.

Within the framework of the meeting, a protocol on mutual understanding between the two countries on cybersecurity was signed to promote cooperation and information exchange in the legislative, executive, strategic, technical and scientific fields. The protocol provides for the exchange of employees of enterprises, study visits and joint development of training programs.

Jorge Toledo confirmed that “Spain will support Andorra at the next meeting of the foreign ministers of the members of the Ibero-American community, which will be held in Antigua”.
