Andorra Land Art Bienniale will take place in Andorra (Pyrenees) from 28 April to 28 July 2017. Three big expositions will be organized within the framework of the event.

The first one is called “The path to the human rights”, it pays tribute to refugees from both sides of Andorran borders, when they had to cross the Pyrenees in search of freedom. This road connects two main border points of the Principality: Coll de Jou (San Julia de Loria) un the south and Port de Siguer (Ordino) in the north. Currently, this path is positioned by the Ministry of Health of Andorra as a “health trail” and is used to promote healthy lifestyle and to get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Andorra.

The second exposition of Andorra Land Art 2017 is an old wool factory located in the highlands of Escaldes-Engordany, closed to the public and left abandoned for several years.

The third exposition of the Biennale – “Observation platform” – is located in Canillo, where several events will be organized on the occasion of the opening of the Roc del Quer observation deck.

More than forty works of contemporary art are expected to be exhibited in the open air during the festival Andorra Land Art. All art pieces must be made with natural materials that “fit” into the surrounding landscape.

All exhibitions are free of charge.
