Andorra joined the international program to improve the ecology of the rivers of the European Regional Development Fund. The program Interreg Sudoe Iberiver supports countries in South-Eastern Europe by funding research projects on climate change impacts, as well as projects related to reducing environmental risks.
The program brings together various institutions of Spain and Portugal, dealing with the issue of improving of ecology of the rivers. The main goal of the program is to help to reduce negative consequences of using of water resources, improve the environmental component and reduce the risk of disease.
