On 20th December the Council of Ministers approved a protocol of joint actions of the Fire Service of Andorra (Bombers) and Emergency Service (Servei Urgent Mèdic) for the rescue and first aid to the victims in the mountains. The protocol is aimed at improving the coordination of actions of the two departments and employees of ski areas.
The protocol also provides the support of the Mountain Rescue Service.
The document will increase the speed and quality of services to victims of accidents, reports the Government.
