Andorra approved a protocol of joint actions of the Fire Service and Emergency Service for the rescue and first aid to the victims in the mountains

On 20th December the Government of Andorra approved a protocol of joint actions of the Fire Service of Andorra (Pyrenees) (Bombers) and Emergency Service (Servei Urgent Mèdic) for the rescue and first aid to the victims in the mountains. The protocol is aimed at improving the coordination of actions of the two departments and employees of the ski resorts.

The protocol also provides the support of the Mountain Rescue Service.

The document will increase the speed and quality of services to victims of accidents, reports the Government.
