The government of Andorra approved the proposal of the Ministry of tourism and trade on the signing of the new cooperation agreement between the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Government of Andorra to develop a new classification system for hotel facilities of Andorra.
In the framework of this agreement new classification rules will be developed. They will define the principles and rates of tourist accommodation of Andorran hotels and apartments. For the implementation of this project the Spanish consulting group “Magma” will be attracted, which is specialized in the tourism industry, in particular, in the area of classification of hotels. The company already has an experience in Andorra.
Currently, the Ministry of tourism and trade of Andorra has started to develop its part os the project.
These new classification rules should stimulate the improvement of quality of customer services in Andorra.
