The Secretary of State for Agriculture and Sustainability, Marc Rossell, presented on Monday morning the Regulations on Sustainable Mobility Plans for Administration, Public Entities and Business Personnel (PMSP). The text, which is based on the Law for the Promotion of the Energy Transition and Climate Change (Litecc), promotes the drafting of mobility plans for all companies and public entities with more than 100 workers to promote sustainable transport, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and continuing to move forward to meet international carbon neutrality commitments by 2050.
The Secretary of State explained that the mobility sector currently accounts for 56% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Andorra, and specifically internal mobility, is responsible for approximately 13% of the global emissions
All entities with more than 100 employees must have the plan approved by December 31, 2022.
