Air Andorra will obtain all the licences required for the major country’s airline no later than in April 2014, said the company’s representative. He said currently the company purchases a fleet Embraer 120 Brasilia turbo prop planes, with the capacity of 27-30 seats. The airline intends implement over 100 «low cost» flights per week to Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Porto, Toulouse (France, Occitania), Palma-de-Mallorca.
The registration of Andair is implemented simultaneously with the reconstruction of private La Seu d’Urgell airport, Spain, Catalonia (10 km from the border with Andorra (Pyrenees)) into the commercial one.
Andair will become the prior airline, though the airport will be able to handle another aircrafts (medium-haul airlines), including the flights from outside the EU.
