The company El Teu Soci Aeri (TSA) offered air taxi service from the airport Andorra (Pyrenees) – La Seu D’Urgell (Spain, Catalonia).
TSA has a Cessna Citation II, with a capacity up for to 8 people with 3 members crew. Its operating radius is about 3,000 km away. The service now can reach Canary Islands or Northern Europe. The company has received about 15 requests to fly to destinations including Italy, England, North Africa and Spain. The TSA company considers the cost of renting of the aircraft not to be expensive and to be perfectly competitive with the prices of regular flights (or taxi services).
Another company (presented by Pyrenees Flight Center) offers now training programme to become a private pilot. The training has already begun and they have 3 students who are conducting classes with a single-engine 4 – seat plane. Over the next few months the company will get a permission to provide training for commercial pilot career training.
