It has been significantly modernized in the XX century (1940) by the project the architect Josep Puig I Cadafalch. Semicircular apses were decorated with pictures from inside, nowadays the collection is partially kept in the National Museum of Catalan Art in Barcelona as well as in two private collections. Marriage at Cana (the city in the north of Palestine where Jesus Christ performed the first miracle—turned water into wine), the depiction of Christ in the face of Pontius Pilate – these are only the fragments of the collection that is kept in the National Museum of Catalan Art.

The images of Angels of the XVIII century and Baroque style altar piece are the major works of art that decorate the church.
