Home care services for citizens of Andorra (Pyrenees) are now the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice, Social and Internal Affairs of the Principality. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Andorran Council of Ministers following the application of the Minister of Justice, Social and Internal Affairs of Andorra Xavier Espot Zamora.
Previously, these services were the responsibility of the Health Service of Andorra (Servei Andorrà d’Atenció Sanitària, SAAS).
According to the government’s decision, now staff costs will be covered by the funds provided by the Ministry of Justice, social and home affairs (previously the costs were covered by the budget of the Ministry of Health of Andorra).
