42nd EDITION OF ‘LA MULTISEGUR VOLTA ALS PORTS D’ANDORRA

42nd EDITION OF ‘LA MULTISEGUR VOLTA ALS PORTS D'ANDORRA

The country’s most well-established cycling event will be celebrating its 42nd edition with the addition of a new route that will join the three existing ones. Participants can register for the four-star route, the longest and most difficult with a length of 109 km and 3,232 m of elevation change; the equally demanding three-star route, with a length of 81 km and 2,322 m of elevation change; the intermediate difficulty level two-star route, 53 km long and with 1,873 m of elevation change; and the one-star route, designed for newcomers to the event, with a length of 27 km and 1,109 m of elevation change.

As typical of the event, all routes will take place on roads open to traffic.

The Multisegur Volta als Ports has positioned itself as one of the points of reference on cyclists calendars for Catalonia, Spain and France. The blue route will once again be the long one, following the Andorran stage of the 2016 tour.

Date: Sunday, 14 July 2019.

Starting point for all routes: 8:30 am Parc Gran del Prat del Colat (La Massana).

Finish: La Coma d’Arcalís (Ordino), at 2,225 m.
