In 2018, Andorra will keep competitive prices for electricity among European countries

In 2018, tariffs for electricity in Andorra (Pyrenees) will grow by an average of 2%. This decision was taken by the Government of Andorra during its meeting on 27th December. As was explained by the finance minister of the principality at a press conference following the meeting, tariffs for electricity in Andorra will remain among the lowest in Europe.

In the first quarter of 2017, individuals (with a consumption volume of 2500 to 5000 kWh) in Andorra paid 0.1131 euros per kWh, while in France and Spain tariffs were 0.1690 euros per kWh and 0.2296 euros per kWh respectively.

Tariffs for industrial consumers (with a consumption volume from 500 to 2500 MWh) in Andorra amounted to 0.1004 euro per kWh, while in France and Spain tariffs were 0.1198 euro per kWh and 0.1284 euro per kWh, respectively.
