The Ministry of Environment of Andorra (Pyrenees) and the municipality of Ordino signed an agreement to formalize a relationship for further cooperation and development. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Environment Sílvia Calvó and the Mayor of Ordino Josep Àngel Mortés.

In particular, the authorities plan construction of a pedestrian road that will connect areas of Lloser d’Ordino and la Cortinada. The project involves the construction of a new section of the road, which will pass through the Church of Santa Barbara in Sornas and cross the motorway – highway CG3. This section of the road will have a length of about 500 meters and provide a passage for pedestrians and cyclists.

According to Silvia Calvo, construction of a new road will become part of the new tourist route and will simplify approaches to one of the national parks of Andorra Sorteny.
