The 32d international colours of music festival is taking place in the Plaça Co Princeps, the parish of Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra (Pyrenees), from 4 to 8 July. All concerts are dedicated to one of the “godfathers” of jazz of Spain, actor, pianist Tete Montoliu.

July 4 – jazz duo Jordi Rabascall & Oriole Gonzalez. The musicians will interpret songs the USA’s composers Duke Ellington and George Gershwin.

July 5 – Jazz duo Pep Poblet & Nito Figueras. Their catalogue includes the best selection of songs, including: “Lucia”, J. M. Serrat, “Michelle”, Beatles, “Roxanne”, Police.

July 6 – Shakin all. Jazz, bordering on blues, rock and roll and gospel.

July 7 – Mathilde Toussaint Quartet. Mathilde Toussaint is a young singer from France with the voice of a “jazz diva”, resembling the voice of Sarah Vaughan or Billie Holiday.

July 8 – Big band jazz Maresme & Txell Sust. The collective was established in 2005, their creativity is a mixture of traditional and new styles. The musicians respect creativity of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman.

11 July – ONCA bàsic´s concert – Clàudia Bardagí & Ci.

All concerts are free of charge. The beginning of concerts – 19:30.
