On 14 July, the music festival “Nights of the world” will begin in Andorra (Pyrenees) in Escaldes-Engordany. All concerts will take place at Plaça Coprínceps. The beginning of concerts – 21: 00.
The first night will be dedicated to France. Pop French musician Funny will be accompanied by pianist and singer Jean-Paul Galy, as well as accordoniste Jacques Ferchy. They will interpret the directory of “french chanson” of the 1950s, as well as songs of Jacques Brel, Claude Nougaro, Charles Trénet, Gilbert Bécaud, Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Georges Brassens.
July 21 – “Night of silence” with 3 djs sets.
August 11 – a journey into the world of the music of the UK capital, in honor of Amy Winehouse, the singer, who died in 2011 in London. The group of the singer will represent in Andorra that day.
The last night of the cycle (the date TBC) will be dedicated to the rhythms of Cuba. This night is a part of the cultural program “Andorra la Vella is the capital of the Latin American cultural 2016”.
The restaurants of Andorra will take part in the festival and will prepare a special menu according to the theme of the night.
